• Ragging is not allowed at QU Roorkee; students getting involved in any kind of such activity will be punished.
• Consumption of alcohol, smoking, gambling, or taking drugs may lead to expulsion from the University/ hostel.
• Hostellers are prohibited from keeping any electrical appliances such as heater, cooker, electric kettle, induction, stove, electric iron, etc. If any such thing happens, the authority will seize the item and will take disciplinary actions.
• Without taking permission from the Department Coordinator / Warden, students cannot stay back in their hostel rooms; they should be in the class during a specific time. Only in case of medical emergency, hostellers may be allowed to stay back in the hostel with the permission of the Chief Warden.
• Students are not allowed to host or organise any parties inside the hostel, whatever be the occasion. It can be organised in the cafe or in open areas only with due permission of the hostel warden and registrar.
• Hostel residents at QU Roorkee have to be present at the time of roll calls which are taken after dinner. If any student is found to be missing or absent during the roll call, strict action will be taken.
• It is expected from the hostel residents to dress in the most modest ways. During the academic hours, the residential students can visit the academic and dining areas only in proper uniform.
