Internships: To give a brief insight about real world industries, internships are organised for students as per their fields. In the off-campus internship, students are given opportunities to work with professional organisations as it is included in their curriculum. In the on-campus internship, which is conducted for customised durations i.e. 3 to 6 months, students are provided with valuable hands on work experience.

Placements: Several activities are conducted at CODE VGU to promote and encourage student’s personal and professional development. They enhance student’s learning through: regular interaction among students and renowned industry personnel through seminars, workshops, conferences, corporate meets, and guest lectures. Students are provided with a number of opportunities at the college which conducts on-campus as well as off-campus recruitment activities. Regular assistance is given to students through summer internship programs.

The companies that provide placements include: Skyline Planners, Natural Fibres Export, etc.

The campus of CODE VGU has a quality infrastructure that focuses on important elements of learning. It is situated in the city of art, architecture, and design production where rich heritage and culture can be experienced by the students.

• Library: The Central Library of the campus is spread on around 10000 sq.ft area that houses more than 12000 books in different fields of learning. CODE provides a comprehensive collection of books, journals, periodicals, and reference materials. Students also get access to e-books through digital libraries. There is a law library, engineering & technology library, and architecture library that cater to the learning needs of individuals.
• Laboratories: The campus has computer lab, metal fabrication lab, woodworking lab, digital prototyping lab, pattern making & garment construction lab, textile, dyeing & print lab, civil and interiors material museum, civil and surveying lab, climatology lab, art and sculpture studio, fashion demonstration area, craft and design lab, and photography and recording studio.
• Lecture Halls: There are well ventilated lecture halls within the campus ensuring a proper learning environment for individuals. The unique architecture of lecture halls promotes interactive learning.
• Hostel: There are separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The hostels can accommodate 1000+ girls and 1500+ boys. It provides 24x7 security with amenities such as drinking water, attached washrooms, electricity and ventilation systems. The rooms are quite spacious with air conditioned facilities.
• Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with all the modern amenities having a seating capacity of 500+ students. It is equipped with air conditioned facilities and has projectors, light and sound systems with attached green rooms. Several cultural and academic events are hosted annually in this auditorium.
• Seminar Halls: The seminar halls provide adequate facilities related to audio video facility, projections and internet. The seating capacity of the seminar hall is approximately 140. These halls are used to facilitate audio visual lectures, workshops, and interactive guest lectures.
• Cafeteria: A well furnished cafeteria is there in the campus which is hygienic, spacious, and well ventilated. Students can enjoy various cuisines like Italian, Chinese, Continental, North Indian, and South Indian with a variety of snacks and beverages. Nutritious food is provided at reasonable prices.
