B. Sc (Nursing) - (Bachelor of Science - Nursing)
B. Sc (Nursing) program of DGNI is a full-time, 4-year undergraduate course recognized by INC and KNC. The basic eligibility criterion for this course is a pass in the 10+2 exam of any approved education board. Candidates from the science stream who have achieved at least 40% in aggregate will be preferred.
Additionally, candidates who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM exam with 40% score can apply as well. Those applicants enlisted as ANM with any ‘state nursing registration council’ are eligible as well.
M. Sc (Nursing) - (Master of Science - Nursing)
All candidates applying for 2-year M. Sc (Nursing) course should be B. Sc/B. Sc (Honors)/PB. B. Sc {nursing} graduates. Furthermore, the applicant must be a certified nurse and midwife approved by a ‘State Nursing Registration Council’. Finally, the candidates should have worked as a registered nurse at least for one year after receiving the B. Sc degree.
PB. Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) {Nursing}
In order to be eligible for the 2-year Post Basic B. Sc (nursing course), the student should clear the 10+2 examination. Alternatively, those who passed 10+1 in 1986 or earlier will be able to apply as well. Candidates listed as R.N.R.M and possessing the G.N.M certification can also send their applications.
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery {GNM}
The Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course is a 3-year full-time program. Any candidate who has passed the 10+2 exam (science stream) with at least 40% marks in aggregate can apply.
