CTU’s ‘School of Engineering & Technology’ offers several B. Tech courses, including the B. Tech (Robotics and Automation) program. This B. Tech has a four-year academic duration, like all other B. Tech programs, and recognized by AICTE. Students studying this undergraduate course will receive a solid grounding on automation and robotics, two emerging fields in technology.
To be specific, the learners will gain a thorough knowledge of designing and making robots and their applications. They’ll be in a position to handle tools and software for designing robotic systems. The learners receive theoretical instructions and hands-on training in the forms of classes, industrial visits, research projects, and laboratory activities.
After completing B. Tech (robotics and automation), budding technologists will find a job as a robotic technician or robotic engineer. They’ll be able to apply for an ‘automated product design engineer’ position in NASA, ISRO, DRDO, and other globally recognized bodies. To be eligible for this course, students will have to clear 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Three of the compulsory subjects should be physics, mathematics, and English with computer science/chemistry/biology/biotechnology as the 4th mandatory subject.
The School of Design and Innovation enrolls students for B. Design (Interior Design), a full-time undergraduate course. This 4-year course equips students with thorough knowledge about interior design which entails varied interior designing facets. The learners also acquire the appropriate skill set for executing the design concepts in real life. The program instills students with the acumen and skills for working in various interior design-related streams.
B. Design students go on to work as associates of leading interior decorators and design firms. To qualify for this graduate program, students need to clear higher secondary (any stream) with 45% aggregate marks.
The three year BCA (Cyber Security) program familiarizes students with IT networks and systems, and how to secure data. Students imbibe knowledge about different cyber security tools, and ethical hacking. BCA stresses on securing computers, programs, and networks, and safeguarding data from unauthorized or unwarranted access.
Students once they complete this undergraduate course can explore a plethora of job opportunities. IT conglomerates, including but not limited to TCS, Wipro, Infosys, CTS, Accenture, and Microsoft need cyber security professionals in large numbers. The demand for cyber security specialists has gone up tremendously in the past few years owing to a proliferation in the number of unethical hackers.
An aspirant for this program should clear his or her 10+2 exam (any stream) with at least 50 % score in aggregate. English has to be one of the compulsory subjects. The student has to possess a higher secondary certificate of an approved state or central education board.
The B. Sc (AAM) program offered by ‘School of Hotel Management, Airlines, and Tourism’ is a full-time, three-year course. The syllabus of the program has a high industry-orientation that enables the students to develop their soft and technical skills. The course curriculum hones the students’ innate and acquired skills, helping them to shape their personality comprehensively.
The learners master the ability to think out of the box while attempting to solve a problem. At the same time, they pick up the nitty-gritty of the course through replicated exercises for practical application of skills. The candidates come to have thorough knowledge about airside operations together with its myriad constituents.
They become familiar with the modus operandi of these components and how they coordinate individually and jointly for streamlined operation. Following course completion, students become aware of the core concepts associated with airport operations. At the same time, they develop awareness about the travel and tourism sector’s various facets.
B. Sc (AAM) degree comes in handy for students desirous of making a career in the airlines, hospitality, and tourism sectors. A 10 + 2 pass certificate (any stream) of any recognized education board would suffice as a minimum academic qualification. Additionally, the aggregate marks in the final exams of 10+2 should not be less than 45%.
The School of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences offers this M. Pharm program approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). This postgraduate program gives a thorough grounding of pharmaceutical chemistry to students. Chemistry, as applied in pharmacy, covers the aspects that deal with transforming a chemical entity into medicine which patients can use effectively without jeopardizing health.
For applying to this master degree program, the student should have a B. Pharm certificate of any University recognized by PCI. The applicant also needs to achieve at least a 55% score in aggregate.
