Aditya College of Design Studies, established in the year 2013 is one of the departments of Aditya Educational Campus that came into existence in 2010. The college deals with applications of Interior Design, Luxury Product Design, Interior Design and Decorations, Retail Interiors and Visual Merchandising. It offers Degree, Diploma, and certificate courses in all streams. ACDS affiliates to University of Mumbai [B.Voc in interior Design] college. It feels proud of the state of art infrastructure that keeps on boosting new thoughts and also aids in encouraging creative thinking in young minds.
The college has a large chamber in its premises where all kinds of events such as open discussions, cultural events, badminton, indoor sports and many such activities are organized. The institute has big seminar halls, and there are a variety of workshops & series of Lectures, Conferences, Summits, Teacher Day Celebration, Prize Distribution, Inauguration, and conferences organized. The events take place in the big banquet hall that has a capacity of around 500 seats. These events offer an ample opportunity to the students to expose themselves by meeting all the professionals, Industry stalwarts. It facilitates them to reach new steps of success.
ACDS was awarded the first prize in the category of ‘Product Designing’ of Society Interiors Design Competition 2016 at the National Level. The college was awarded the 2nd Prize in 2017 at National Level in the category of Product Designing of Society Interiors Design Competition.
ACDS is a proud member of The European League of Institute of Arts because of which all the certificate courses given to students has pan European acceptance by Art & Design Institutions all over the world. ELIA is among the top multidisciplinary membership organizations which came into existence in 1990 and represents around 3,00,000 students in every art disciplines.
The college has a library with a wide range of design and architecture related books and journals, both national as well as international. The whole stock is regularly reviewed and updated with new editions and titles. The college has a complete digitized library with E-Granthalaya Software. Students can find more than 1000 business magazines and journals online.
