The On-Campus Placement activities in the university are handled by the Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC). The Committee conducts pre-placement training sessions and facilitates the process of on-campus recruitment. RCC works to optimise the number of students who get jobs through the On-Campus Placement. To do so, it conducts several activities like, conducting training programs, inviting firms and companies for campus placement, facilitating administrative requirements for placement drives, etc.

Students of the law university have completed their internship in different law firms, companies, NGOs, banks, and other organisations like, Indian Oil Corporation, People’s Union for Civil Liberties, AKS Law Associates, Cholamandal IP Law Firm, National Human Rights Commission, WNS Global Services, and more.

NLUJAA is a residential university built on 50 acres of land at Amingaon, Guwahati. The infrastructure of the Administrative Block and Academic Block are designed in a way to meet the modern day educational requirements. The Administrative Block of the University was recently constructed and houses the offices of Vice Chancellor’s, Deputy Registrar, Registrar, Academic and IT Section and other support services. A Legal Aid Clinic was set up at the main gate to provide legal guidance to the university community and local people. Other than these, more infrastructure facilities available in the university premises are described in the following points:

• Library: The Library is located at the centre of the campus, covering approximately 50,000 square feet. The four-storied library building is fully air conditioned with CCTV and Wi-Fi is installed for the smooth functioning of its services. Students can access options of e-learning resources from the digital section of the library housed on the second floor of the library building. The rich collection of the library comprises of reports, back volumes, reference sources, multimedia and question papers. It subscribes to over 1500 journals (printed and electronic). Besides the library collection, services rendered to the readers include, Reference and Information Services, Online Public Access Catalog, Printing, Scanning of Plagiarism, Binding, Remote Access Service, etc.
• Classrooms: The Academic Block of the university has smart classrooms with digital board, LCD projector, AC, microphone, Video Conferencing Systems, LCD screen, etc. The arrangements to seat in the smart classrooms are in a theatrical way.
• Hostel: NLUJA provides accommodation to both boys and girls students. Single and Double occupancy rooms are available for students. For students’ safety separate security guards are appointed in each hostel. Each hostel room is furnished with a bed, a chair, a table, and a cupboard. Other facilities available for hostlers include, Dining-Hall, Common-Room, Separate gymnasiums for boys and girls, kitchen, yoga and prayer hall, library room, etc. A Counseling Centre is open for the hostel students to tackle the issues relating to stress and anxiety.
• Moot Court: A Moot Court Hall is housed in the Administrative Block with high-tech ICT equipment to conduct moot court competitions.
• Sports: A Multipurpose Indoor Hall is constructed in the campus comprising two badminton courts, two sets of Table Tennis Boards, green room, and other sports facilities. There is a big cricket ground and well-maintained volleyball ground also. Additionally, the Intra-University Sports series known as ‘Arjuna’ is organised every year. An inter-university national sports fest called ‘Abhiveera’ is organised by the university to foster sportsmanship and healthy competition.
• Medical Facilities: A Health Centre equipped with first-aid medical facilities is open in the university premises. For emergency cases, the university owns an ambulance which is available round the clock.
• Other Facilities: Meeting Hall, Conference Hall, Meditation Centre, Computer Labs, Theatre, etc.
