B. Sc (Honors)-Environmental Science

The School of Sciences offers a suite of academic courses about IT, chemistry, environmental sciences, microbiology, and biotechnology.  Owing to the increasing relevance of ecological aspects in the present times, many students pursue B. Sc (environmental science) program. Students perform pioneering research and learn details about physical and life sciences for tackling critical ecological facets.

At the same time, they gain knowledge about processes concerning biosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere. The pupils imbibe details related to abiotic and biotic interactions as well as environmental aspects germane to managed and natural ecosystems. The course curriculum incorporates essential elements of atmospheric and earth sciences, physical sciences, environmental management, and ecological biology.

During the study, students become familiar with physical chemistry, biostatistics, inorganic chemistry, environmental biotechnology, entrepreneurship, and much more. To qualify for this program, students should clear 10+2 with mathematics and biology as compulsory subjects.

B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)

The basic eligibility criterion is clearing the higher secondary with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

The School of Physiotherapy monitors admissions for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. Physiotherapy, as a healthcare profession, requires physiotherapists to offer treatment to people of different age groups for keeping them healthy. Those selected to study B. Physiotherapy, acquire knowledge about physiological systems and functioning processes.

B. Tech (Information Technology)

The School of Engineering enrolls students for a plethora of undergraduate engineering programs. A student interested in pursuing a B. Tech course can opt to specialize in civil, mechanical, computer, information technology, or chemical engineering. The B. Tech (IT) program enjoys a high level of popularity as the course is extremely industry-oriented. Once a student completes the program, he imbibes the capability to contribute to the IT sector in a big way.

Final year B.Tech (IT) students can send in their applications for a variety of lucrative job positions. India enjoys a vanguard position in the global IT scenario, and hence there is a constant demand for skilled IT professionals. The course curriculum equips students with basic and advanced aspects of information technology. A student who wants to pursue this program must clear 10 +2 with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.

Additionally, the applicant has to qualify as a national level engineering entrance examination like AIEEE, JEE (Main) or JEE (Advanced).

M. Sc. (Biotechnology & Microbiology Integrated)

Science graduates willing to continue with higher education can send their application for the integrated M. Sc. Program. Candidates can also pursue an M. Sc. (Microbiology) or M. Sc. (Biotechnology) course, both of which is a two-year program. Applicants opting for the integrated postgraduate program learn basic and advanced concepts about microbiology and biotechnology in detail.

Biotechnology involves studying biochemical, physiological, and structural functions of animals, plants, and microorganisms for the sake of human welfare. The field of biotechnology can witness the transformation in the coming years which could be more sweeping than catalyzed by IT. The biotechnology curriculum will make students aware of the processes and constituents of biomedical instrumentation, living organisms, immuno-technology, and computational techniques. 

Their biotechnological knowledge will serve them well in finding a job in environmental protection, agricultural, and healthcare sectors. The microbiology component will enlighten students on microbes and their interfaces with organisms of higher orders.
