International Candidates Eligibility

LPU Jalandhar conducts an entrance test known as Lovely Professional University National Entrance Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) to provide admission in BCA programs. Interested candidates can give this test from test centres allotted by the university or from their home according to their convenience.

The Pattern of LPUNEST is:

• Mode of Test : Computer-Based Test
• Duration : 90 Minutes
• Type of Questions : MCQs and Fill in the Blanks
• Negative Marking : No
• Subjects : English (Compulsory) + 2 Opted Subjects

Application Process for National Candidates

The university provides LPUNEST Kit that consists of Information Brochure and Test Booklet. The interested candidates can obtain this kit through online or offline methods as per their preference. The format of the Application Form will be processed by the Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Here are the steps of Application Process that candidates can follow:

Step 1: Register for LPUNEST

The registration can be done through the following methods:

Online Registration

• Candidates need to visit https://admission.lpu.in/ to fill up the Registration Form with the particulars asked.
• After registration, an Application Form will appear that needs to be filled up with general and education qualification details.
• Candidates must book their slot for LPUNEST and confirm the date and time of the test.
• Download the hall ticket of the test.

Offline Registration

• Candidates can obtain the LPUNEST Kit from the campus or other locations by depositing the requisite amount of fee.
• After filling all the information asked, they can send the form in the self-addressed envelope to the given address.
• In case they are unable to send a manual copy of the Application Form, then candidates can scratch the Unique OMR code given on the form.
• They must login into the portal through visiting https://admission.lpu.in/ link.
• At the time of payment, they can select the option of Unique OMR Code and follow the instructions given.
• Follow the preceding process as mentioned above in the online registration.

Step 2: Appear for LPUNEST

The university conducts exams via 2 methods. Candidates can select the method as per their preference. The details regarding the 2 methods are mentioned below:

Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from Home

In this method candidates have to appear for the test from their home according to the scheduled date and time. These candidates will be informed via email. The email will contain all the information related to the test. The university will monitor the candidates’ screen through multiple Artificial Intelligence Tools.

Test Centre Based Exam

Candidates who have opted for this method need to report at the assigned test centre with the Hall ticket. They also need to bring one Identity Proof Document. They will be assigned one particular computer system on which they can give their test.

Step 3: Result Declaration, Upload Documents, and Pay Fees

The results will be declared by the university. The qualified candidates can upload the documents and deposit the requisite amount to confirm the admission in BCA.

Application Process for International Candidates

The details related to the application process that international candidates have to follow are stated below:

Step 1: Registration

International Candidates can register through the Application Portal given on the website. They must provide the right email address for further communications.

Step 2: Application Form

Candidates can submit their completely filled Application Form through both online or offline methods. They also need to upload the important documents as asked by the university.

Step 3: Download the Offer Letter

Once the university receives the application of the candidates, it will generate an Offer Letter of the candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria.

Step 4: Payment of Fee

Read all the terms and conditions as mentioned in the offer letter and submit the payment before the scheduled date as mentioned in the letter.

Step 5: Download the Acceptance Letter

After evaluating the application and documents of the candidates, the university will issue an Acceptance Letter. The selected candidates can download the letter from the Application Portal.
