IIIT Surat Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our current campus is of 7 acres. It contains admin block, 6 classrooms, 6 Labs, Girls and boy’s washrooms, canteen, library, 2 faculty rooms and an Open Air Theatre (OAT). Plus we have dedicated volleyball ground and kabaddi ground and also we have empty space where students can play football or cricket also. We have recently got a table tennis set. Plus we will be having Drums, piano and other music stuff soon at the campus. This is a temporary campus. Construction of our permanent campus of 27 acres is in progress and will be completed within next 1.5 - 2 years. It will consist of an administration block + academic block + boy’s hostel + girl’s hostel. The hostels will also consist of recreational area.

We have 90 seats in both the courses which is a total of 180 so we have less number of students at the campus. But these students are creamy layer students as they have entered the college by clearing one of the toughest exams called JEE Mains. We have a one day cultural program called Saanjh which consists of cultural performances and recreational activities. We organise a 3 day annual cultural fest called Spring Fiesta which also consists of cultural performances and competitions organized by different clubs within the college. We also regularly organise coding competitions for the students. So yes campus life is very good here and it will get better after we get our permanent campus.Read Full Review

IIIT Surat has good and well-furnished infrastructure. The classrooms are big and comfortable. There is a big library where students can study. The campus also has a playground and a garden where students can sit in their free time. Although, the campus is still developing. The administration is also good and supportive. There are also indoor games like carrom and table tennis. Everything is well organized and overall, the infrastructure is good.

Campus life at IIIT Surat is very good and full of fun activities. Many events and fest happen every year like freshers' party, DJ night and other cultural and non-cultural events. Students enjoy these fests a lot and participate in these events. Sports facilities are also good. Faculty and students enjoy the fest together. There are many clubs in which seniors will guide their juniors and students can join clubs for their personality development.Read Full Review

The campus is very small and there are only 6 classrooms and 6 labs for the students. The library and mess are very compact. The whole campus has a single block only. The classrooms are not air conditioned. The labs are well ventilated and they have all the required equipment.

The club culture is good. There are a lot of opportunities to explore. The fests are good and the clubs keep on organising events on every festival and conduct competitive events which make the campus joyful. Campus location is a problem in some cases but, overall it is good.Read Full Review
