Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was found in the year 1998 by Smt. Anguri Devi Charitable Trust to provide higher education in the field of engineering. The institution has without a doubt turned into a lucky, excellent and perfect scholarly destination for the engineering applicants in the journey of creating their career. It offers both graduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering having the strength of 1,500 students and 200 faculty members. The mission is to encourage students and make them think beyond their level and keep exploring and learning new things in the field of Engineering. Dronacharya College of Engineering offers students a full-time course of Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology in the field of Engineering with various specializations. To take admission in the undergraduate courses, candidates must have cleared JEE main entrance examination and the postgraduate students must pass the GATE entrance examination. Applicants must submit all the required documents asked by the management for submission.
All students must maintain a minimum attendance of 85% in each course registered. In case of any shortage of attendance, the branch will consider and may manage the shortage up to a limit of 10% in special cases. The department regularly announces the attendance of the students. In case of shortage, the students are not allowed to give the Semester End Examination in that course; they will be awarded an ‘F’ grade. Thus, 85% attendance is compulsory to maintain by the students to give the End Semester Examination.
Their ranking rises with the success of their students. Since establishment, the college is maintaining its ranking amongst the top architectural colleges in India. The institution was given the award of Best Industry Linked Electronics & Allied Engineering Institute in AICTE in 2016.
