SCMS Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The hostel is very nice and the food is also very tasty. The food is hygienic and also its very accessible. If you want to eat something beside the mess menu then you can always choose the various food options from the canteen and it is really affordable too. I used to have my lunch every day in the canteen and it was a ball as the food available in the canteen is also tasty and there are lots of varieties as well like Italian, Chinese, north Indian, south Indian, etc.Read Full Review

The hostels are common for all the colleges of Viman Nagar. The hostel is not inside the campus but an easy commute from the campus to the hostel. The college has also arranged buses to pick and drop students to the hostel every hour. The capacity for the boy's hostel is quite less as there are just two active wings of the boy's hostel. One of the wings had rooms on double sharing, while the other had a triple and four sharing options. The rooms were fully furnished and had the facilities of indoor games and Wi-Fi. Luckily there were separate sections for veg and non-veg food as I am a pure vegetarian and can bear the sight of non-veg in front of me.Read Full Review

The hostel provided by the University played a huge role in me getting to Symbiosis. There are as many as 5 girls hostel and all are near the campus. In girls hostel, you will get a choice to choose between the triple sharing and twin sharing rooms. I stayed in B wing girls hostel which was allotted on twin sharing. Nice painted rooms with all the top facilities make Symbiosis girls hostels the best place in Pune. There are 2 boys hostel as well and are at a far off place from the girls hostel. Sadly the girls hostel curfew time is 9 pm and we have to report before that. However, all these rules only convinced my parents and one shouldn’t bother about anything if you qualify for SCMS.Read Full Review
