Gateway College of Architecture and Design: Admission 2025, Fees, Sonipat

Gateway College of Architecture (GCAD) is situated in Sonepat, Haryana, and was established back in the year 2008. The initiation of the college was taken by the Gateway Charitable Society. The college was set up with the support of Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal, an experienced architect himself, and by Mr. H.P. Mangla. The college is approved by the COA as well as by the Government of Haryana. And it is affiliated with the DCRUST, Murthal. With time the college has also grown as it was started with a small setup of only one room. And today the college has about one lakh Sq. Ft. or more than it as its built-up area.

The college offers 5-year B.Arch. degree course and 2-year M.Planning course for the students. The faculty members of the institute are well-experienced and qualified in their field of expertise to guide the students. The institute is designed in a gurukul like a way to stay attached to the roots. And the aim of the institute is to impart quality education to the students with the help of the latest technologies.

The admission process at the GCAD is very simple. It is as follows:

Step 1: The student can fill out the admission form in many different ways. They can either fill it out through online or offline by downloading it or purchasing it from the institute.

Step 2: The merit list is released by the college based on the score of the student in NATA and class 12^th examinations.

Step 3: The offer letter is released by the college. And it is sent to the students through email, SMS, or by post.

Step 4: The students have to pay the fees by the date mentioned on the offer letter.

Step 5: The admission is granted on the basis of the merit list confirmed by the college.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch.

• The candidate should have cleared class 12^th with PCM as major subjects. Or they should have completed a 10+3 Diploma and Mathematics is the major subject required to be eligible for admission.
• NATA is to be cleared by the candidate.
• 50% weightage is considered for the result of the 12^th standard or 10+3 Diploma and 50% weightage is given to NATA.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Planning

• The candidates who have cleared their Bachelor’s degree in Planning & Architecture or CE can apply. Or the candidates who have done their masters in Sociology, Geography or Economics can apply.
• The students should have cleared his/her graduation course mentioned above with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For the reserved category or physically disabled students, the same is 47.50%.
