Talking about B.Com Hons., the total intake is 115 and for unreserved candidates its 47. To enroll in this course one needs to appear for CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and one important thing that a lot students worry about is Maths. Well fortunately you don't require Math to study B.Com and B.Com Hons. Your board’s percentage won't get you here but keep in mind it’s a tie breaker when marks for two candidates in CUET are same. Last point the cutoff, this year the cutoff went 764/800.

There are also societies present to enhance the academic performance of the students such as the Ecosoc, Comsoc, Marketing Club, etc. The motive of coming into this college was because of its reputation and academic credits.

Like I said, academics are taken quite seriously in Venky. You are required to have minimum attendance of 66.67% as even attendance carry marks. Apart from this, there are continuous quizzes, assignments, presentations, and class tests to keep you caught up with your syllabus. This year, CUET cutoff for B.Com program was 751 out of 800 which is quite high, so you compete with your peers in a healthy way.
