DSMS College of Tourism Management: Admission 2025, Fees, Scholarship, Durgapur

DSMS College of Tourism Management Durgapur is a part of DSMS (Durgapur Society of Management Sciences) Group of Institutions. It was established in 1990. This college is affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, and it has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Vision: To provide a suitable environment for students to learn about values, ethics, and social responsibilities in addition to the academic training in their field of interest.

Mission: To promote professional competence among students so that they can put their efforts in the development of the nation with their innovation and intellect.

Admission into DSMS College of Tourism is provided on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination or on merit based criteria. To be eligible for admission into this college, the candidates need to satisfy the minimum eligibility requirement. The eligibility conditions for admission into different courses are prescribed as below:

Admission Process:

• Candidates have to fill the application form and make a choice of the course of their preference.
• After attaching the required documents candidates can submit the application form by making payment of application fee.
• Candidates are selected for admission on the basis of merit list prepared as per qualifying marks.
• Selected candidates have to appear for the counselling and document verification process on completion of which admissions are provided.

DSMS College provides financial assistance to the students in the form of Scholarship Schemes. In order to help students in continuation of their higher studies by offering them tuition fee waiver, and assistance for other expenses, the institute provides such scholarship schemes. Students can avail benefit under government as well as institutional scholarship schemes.

DSMS National Scholarship:

• It is a merit based scholarship scheme, under which an online scholarship test is conducted by the institute.
• A tuition fee waiver of up to 70% is provided to the meritorious candidates.
• The overall academic performance of candidates in their 10^th, 10+2, and DSMS National Scholarship Test are considered for determining scholarship amount.
• Finally Scholarships are provided to the selected candidates as per their performance in personal interview.

Government Scholarships:

To provide equal opportunities to all students, the college allows students to avail benefits under various government scholarships. These scholarships are provided to the candidates on the basis of their academic performance, socio-economic background, and minority status.
