The Training & Placement Cell at IIP Ratnagiri helps students find placements with top organisations and sets up internships and training programs. All students complete mandatory industrial training during their three years at IIP. The cell, made up of teachers and senior students, assists with placements and promotes industry-academic interaction. It prepares students for interviews, project proposals, and presentations.

The Training & Placement Cell monitors students' progress and identifies job vacancies across various industries and shares this information with students. Additionally, the cell arranges seminars and group discussions to benefit students, providing training in resume writing, interview preparation, group discussions, and project presentations.

Many companies, including Emcure, Cipla, TCS, Sun Pharma, Glenmark, Abbott, Wellness Forever, Geno Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, and many others visit college to recruit students.

The Indira Institute of Pharmacy Ratnagiri infrastructure is built on 6 acres of land providing all the necessary facilities to their students whether it is related to their studies or their stay at the hostel. It has spacious lecture halls, well equipped laboratories, library, a seminar hall, computer center, mess, canteen, gymnasium, and playgrounds. The details about facilities are mentioned below.

• Library: The college library covers 1,600 square meters and includes a stock room, an audio-visual computer section, a book bank facility, and digital resources like e-university papers and e-syllabi. It has around 8,650 books, 1,927 titles, 10 national journals,and internet access. Besides this, there are departmental libraries with a good collection of books.
• Laboratories: IIP has established several modern laboratories equipped with advanced technology to provide excellent practical training for pharmacists. These labs prioritise safety and follow essential safety guidelines.
• Computer Training Centre: Recognising the importance of computer skills for future pharmacists, the college provides students access to high-quality computers and the latest software, along with internet facilities.
• Hostel Facilities: The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, each with spacious, well-furnished rooms that include tables and solar water heaters for a comfortable stay. Safety and privacy, especially for girls, are prioritised. There’s a mess and a canteen on campus, ensuring that the food is nutritious, hygienic, and tasty. Each hostel has a water filter and a cooler, with water and electricity available 24/7. A 30 KVA generator provides emergency power for the hostel buildings.
• Medicinal Garden: The institute features a well-maintained medicinal garden with over 100 medicinal plants, complete with pharmacognostic information available through QR codes.
