MNLU Nagpur Fees Structure & Courses 2025

I have chosen BBA LLB (Hons.) and it's more focused towards corporate and a mixture of Management and Law. The eligibility criterion is that students have to give Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). For the general category candidate, rank of between 1200-2500 is good for taking admission. The admission is done through CLAT counseling process. One semester is of six months and there is pretty well gap between the mid- sem and end-sem exams. The exam pattern is really good because the questions are application based so it helps student in understanding how to apply the Law in practical life.

The fee of first year was Rs. 3,65,000. The whole course amounts to almost 18 Lakh. The fee structure is as follows tuition fee is Rs. 1,65,000, student welfare fee Rs. 3,000, library fee is Rs. 18,000, moot court fee is Rs. 6,000, recreation facility is Rs. 6,000 internet charges is Rs. 6,000, examination and evaluation fee is Rs. 8,000. It also includes accommodation charges. Maharashtra State government provides different scholarships to EWS, OBC ,SC and ST students. Talking about the academics here at NLUN, one gets a pretty good course range to opt from as unlike other Law institutions and it also offers BBA.LL.B program for the students who don't want to opt for the B.A. LL.B program. It is also the only National Law school which offers the BA.LLB (Hons. in Adjudication & Justicing) program for students who are inclined towards the judiciary. Overall academic culture here is good as it is pretty rigorous and taxing (which is a good thing in my opinion). One academic year is split into 2 semesters. Each subject consists of 100 marks out of which 20 is for mid-semester exam, 50 for end semester exam, 25 for research assignment and presentation / viva and the remaining 5 for attendance (Attendance requirements are very stringent here). 75% attendance is mandatory here irrespective of the course you are enrolled in. The eligibility criteria and selection process are different for the adjudication batch which is mentioned in detail on the university website. One can pick between BA & BBA depending upon their interests. The curriculum in all of the courses is pretty exhaustive and rigorous in nature.

I’m pursuing a B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur and the syllabus is comparatively tougher than what I've observed with my friends from other NLUs. The best thing about academics in our university is that the exams are application based and rather than cramming things, students are encouraged to apply legal principles to case studies and create probable solutions to legal problems that arise.
