The Indira Gandhi University – IGU Rewari started operations in 2013. It was earlier established as Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Regional Centre of Maharishi Dayanand University in 1988. The University is recognised by BCI and PCI & approved by UGC and AICTE.
Vision: The vision of the University is to be known globally for its eminence in imparting education, research & innovation, and social welfare. It aims to learn & practice ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

Admission Process
Eligible students are offered admission to the University on the basis of merit, inter-se-merit of percentage (by the Haryana State Technical Education Society), and entrance test as applicable to the respective courses.
Interested & eligible students can apply for admission in the University by filling in the Application Form & pay the Registration Fee & the Entrance Test cum Counselling Fee through online mode.
Documents Required
The Indira Gandhi University Meerpur offers a number of scholarships to the eligible students in order to uplift the weaker sections of the society. This includes the Post Matric Scholarship offered to SC/ST students under the Government of India scheme.
