Kishinchand Chellaram College Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

According to Bombay Streets, K.C College has a large campus area of 70,000 sq ft with a large two-floor air-conditioned auditorium with a large stage and 3 green rooms behind the main stage. Next to the hall is a lawn used for an amazing kitchen where we meet all our co-workers and fellow mates to discuss projects or spend quality time with lots of delicious snacks.

K.C is also known for its excellent non-academic activities and there are 4 combined-long classrooms as major sports and non-academic activities room for the whole practice. As I said, K.C is a very student-friendly college/university. It is equipped with all the major health care benefits of all first aid kits and emergency department contacts near campus. They regularly organize free medical examinations, health camps, workshops, and more in good recognition of good health and well-being.

The best and biggest time in college. Intercollegiate festival (KIRAN). Oh, what a wonderful feeling It was when I volunteered for the latest fest. The number of people you meet from all the departments, you work together day and night, you get along, you run across the campus, look at many events and whatnot.

Those 3 magical days are one of the most memorable memories of my life and how they were drawn with help of Principal Ma'am (Hemlata K. Bagla), department coordinators, teaching and non-teaching staff with the same motive to make KIRAN successful and better each year.Read Full Review

The college was not that big but the newly built building beside the lawn had a beautiful auditorium where most of our events and formal classes happened. There was a small studio within the college and only BMM students had access to that. The classes at KC have turned air-conditioned and the new block is fully air-conditioned. There’s a small lawn and a basketball court inside the premises. That’s it on infrastructure part as that is all that the college has.

BMM course meant having the time of our lives and what better way that to wake up and come to this beautiful college. Classes were over by noon but projects, and researches meant I took the local back home after 9 pm on most occasions. Much to my delight, my parents were ok with it as they knew that I will be doing anything but not ignoring the studies. Well, there were a lot of immediate distractions though as from a guy living in suburb watching people from town making major half of the crowd. It was my mistake though to get distracted because the college considers everyone equal and provided each one of us the same platform to showcase our skills at the events and seminars.Read Full Review

The college campus size is small but has 2 buildings that have all the facilities one seeks. In one building there’s a huge air-conditioned auditorium that can accommodate some 600-700 students. The college campus also has an air-conditioned library that has books of all disciplines along with daily newspapers and some journals. One building can be said as reserved for co-curricular activities as there’s a stage, green rooms, and a canteen. The classrooms that are main are spacious and are best suited for the students. Among facilities that are available in campus includes computer labs, air-conditioned staff rooms, and a stage that hosts events and seminars. Seminars were a regular feature of this college as knowledgeably persons from various streams used to come and give lectures on respective subjects. Thus campus has all the modern facilities. Also, the college students can play at Oval Maidan as the college has access to the ground for most time of the year. There are also health labs outside the campus that are common for all the nearby colleges such as Jai Hind, H.R. and Sydenham among others.

The college has various clubs running like dance club, nature club and therefore there’s so much to learn at KC. I used my time wisely at the college as I joined few clubs and also gave emphasis on studies at the same time. My first project was done under the guidance of Priya Mam as a part of blood donation camp. After that been with college activities for many more programs and also participated in KIRAN (Fest) for all 3 years.Read Full Review
