IIMTU or IIMT University came into existence in 2016. The university is located in Meerut, UP. Yogesh Mohanji Gupta is the current chancellor of the university. The IIMT University Meerut was started with the aim of providing world-class education, to the students of UP, who wander to other states for education purposes. The engineering school of the university is the most famous and is highly ranked by many decorated authorities for its various programs.     Online Application – For students outside Meerut for whom visiting the campus is not possible, going through IIMT University application form is ideal. So, one can get direct admissions to the university online as the eligibility and all are checked soon from the university’s end and students are notified about the same at the earliest. Before applying if a student has any doubts, they can mail the same and one can expect a call soon from university’s end. Once the University admission form is filled and the eligibility criteria is met, the students will be called for a Personal Interview. If all goes well, admission offer will be made soon to such students. The course fees can be paid through various payment methods such as NEFT, Drafts, Paytm, UPI, and others.     Entrance exams – Some of the courses of the university have a fixed criteria and that is an entrance exam. Some of such courses include PhD and M. Pharmacy has to pass the IIMT University’s own entrance exam. For students who wish to get enrol in M. Pharmacy have to clear GPAT as that’s the only way to get admission at IIMT’s M. Pharmacy program. For M. Tech, GATE scores are enough, as those students are exempted to give IIMT’s entrance and can get admission is depending on their GATE scores cut-off. Likewise, there are many courses for which university has a mandatory entrance-based admission criterion.

IIMT awards 3 crores worth of scholarships every year. The three main agenda of the university to provide scholarships are that students should have their education continued in a smooth manner.
