IIMT University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Meerut

The IIMT University (IIMTU), Meerut has hostel facilities to provide residential facilities to its students. There are two separate buildings to accommodate boys’ and girls’, ensuring their privacy and security. The hostels at the University are well designed to cater to the diverse needs of hostellers.

The hostels of IIMT University Meerut provide students with ample amenities to let them focus on their academics and develop various extra-curricular skills. The rooms available at the hostels are around 1350 which can collectively accommodate approximately 2500 students in multiple sharing bases. The IIMT University Meerut hostel fees range from Rs. 1,10,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum.

The students can get access to the on-campus accommodation facilities by paying the IIMT University Meerut hostel fees which vary on the basis of air-conditioned & non air-conditioned rooms. Students should note that once the hostel fee is paid it will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Below-mentioned are the rules that should be followed by the students to maintain the discipline at the hostels:

• Students are strictly restricted to stay outside the hostel after 7:30 PM for boys and 6:00 PM for girls. In any case, students who want to stay outside the hostel need to obtain a one day prior permission from the respective authorities.
• The hostellers should not carry or consume any kind of prohibited substances such as drugs, cigarettes, liquor, pan masala, etc.
• The student caught indulging in any kind of misconduct, misbehaviour, indiscipline or criminal activity will face expulsion from the hostel as well as from the University.
• Any kind of music and use of electronic gadgets by the hostellers after 8:00 PM are strictly restricted.
• The hostel premises should not be used to organise any kind of events or parties.
• Students have to stay in their allotted rooms only; they are not allowed to interchange their rooms without prior permission from the warden.
• Maintaining the room of the hostel in terms of cleanliness is the responsibility of hostellers. Moreover, it is expected from the students to maintain the properties such as bulbs, fans, glasses, etc.

The male and female students are offered separate residential facilities inside the IIMT University Meerut Campus. The air-conditioned and non air-conditioned IIMTU Meerut hostel rooms are available with attached washrooms and are alloted on the basis of double and triple occupancy. Moreover, rooms of the hostel are designed to provide students an environment for study and rest.

The separate mess for girls’ and boys’ hostels provides delicious and nutritious meals to ensure students’ overall wellbeing. The mess has experienced chefs that design menus that cater to the diverse food needs of the students. The hostel premises also have dedicated wardens, 24/7 security guard vigilance, and CCTV cameras to maintain the security and safety of the hostellers.
