Era University abbreviated as EU is a private university founded following the act passed in the Uttar Pradesh Legislature in the year 2016. The University was set up to impart higher education to the students who want to build their career in the field of Medicine, Humanities and Computer Applications. It is funded and managed by the Era Educational Trust (EEE), a registered body established with an aim to disseminate educational and medical facilities to the needy and deserving candidates.
The University was set up with a goal to empower the society by serving quality education through various programs that fosters creativity, innovation and skills necessary for the benefit of the students globally. It is committed to provide excellence in teaching, research, and training facilities so that they can build a better future of their students.

Students who want to avail any of the courses offered by the university must first enquire regarding the same either online or offline. Post enquiring, if they have the eligibility criteria for the respective course they have chosen to pursue, then they should proceed to fill up the registration form and prepare well for the screening test and interview. Those who qualify in the test and interview have to present their documents for verification and thereafter the final selection of the candidate is made.

The Era University Placement Cell (EUPC) acts as a link between the graduates and the employers to help them find the suitable job that matches their skills and needs. It provides guidance, support and the necessary resources to assist its students to gain entrepreneur skills and confidence in their job search and also prepares them for interviews. The EUPC to accomplish its motto of finding relevant jobs for the students organises career events and workshops, offers personalised career counseling services, provides job search strategies, and many other activities. It is the result of the constant efforts of the Cell that many of the leading companies have come to the Era University campus for the placement.
