Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law was established in 1925. It is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur. The College is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Vision: It envisions becoming a model law college for providing quality education to the students.

Mission: The mission of the College is to provide liberal, professional, legal, & ethical learning to the students and to create an educational environment which promotes equality among them. Its aim is to prepare youth who are enlightened intellectually, inspired soulfully, and are committed to serve the society for its transformation.

Admission Process:

• RTMNU's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of law course admissions are based on merit marks in MH-CET (Law) & according to their categories conducted by CET Cell of the Maharashtra Government & the affiliating University.
• The admission process involves a Centralised Admission Procedure called CAP rounds, conducted by the Maharashtra State Government.
• Admission is given by the College’s Admission Committee according to the rules of BCI.
• After receiving an allotment through the CAP rounds, students must fill the Application Form and pay the fee at the College to confirm their seats.

Students can avail the Institutional, State Government, and Central Government Scholarships such as ‘Post-Matric Scholarships to the EBC students by the Government of India’. Eligible students must submit the scholarship form to the College at the time of admission.
