The All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT), which was founded 30+ years ago with the revolutionary idea of teaching computer literacy and technology to rural people in their home tongue. Grants for Social Categories:
According to their annual family income, OBC, SC, and ST applicants are eligible to apply for scholarships under this programme. If the family income of the students is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh for SC/ST and Rs. 1.5 lakh for OBC, they are eligible for scholarships. The caste certificate must be duly signed by the Tahsildar, and the applicants must also submit their income tax certificate.
Scholarship for Meritorious Candidates:
Scholarships under this programme are available to students who received 85% or higher on their HSC/ SSC exam. Before the commencement of each term, scholarships are distributed either in whole at the beginning of the graduate programme or in installments. Candidates from the economically underprivileged areas of society are also given special consideration by the university.
Scholarship for GATE students:
For GATE-qualified students who need financial assistance paying for higher education and meeting their needs while working on their theses, MHRD grants a stipend of 8000 INR. This initiative aims to advance postgraduate study in India.
