Placement is the final step in higher education and to provide an excellent placement and recruitment experience to the students, the university has established a separate and active Career Counselling and Placement Cell. This cell and the employment bureau provide the students with proper training and guidance in opting for the right career options in renowned organisations.

The institute also has a Public Relation Cell that works towards maintaining positive and professional relations with the recruiting companies and invites them regularly for on-campus placement drives. The career counselling cell assists the students and helps them resolve their confusion related to careers and the near future. The cell monitors the overall performance of the students and guides them in cracking the official interview with confidence and knowledge.

The campus of the university is located at Belisarai, Motihari, where the historical Satyagrah of Mahatma Gandhi took place. The University is easy to reach via road, air, or train. It is 80 km away from Muzaffarpur, 52 km away from Raxaul, approx 160 km away from Patna and 200 km away from Gorakhpur. To provide the students with a positive and healthy campus environment, MGCU also has SC / ST Cell, Anti-Ragging Department, Internal Complain Committee & Women Cell and the Student Grievance Cell. Apart from this, the university has excellent academic facilities and services to offer the students like:

• Library: The name of MGCU’s library is Atal Bihari Vajpayee Central Library. This library is situated in the middle of the campus and is easily accessible by all the schools and departments. The library is stocked with multiple resources providing both offline and online research facilities. There is a collection of 26000+ books, 10+ magazines, periodicals, 10+ local & national newspapers and e-newspapers, 125+ donated books, e-books, references, etc. The environment of the library is calm, allowing the readers to enjoy their books in the general reading area. Apart from this, to provide tech facilities and comfort to the students, the library has a Wi-Fi connection, the latest computer systems, and air conditioning.
• Laboratories: Labs play a vital role in developing the overall knowledge of the students and it also helps them in using their theoretical knowledge. At MGCU, the students are facilitated with modern equipment, resources, and tools to perform multiple practical tasks. Some primary labs present at MGCU are the Biotechnology lab, Botany lab, Chemistry lab, physics lab, and Zoology lab. All these labs are open for practical work and expert faculties are also present here for guiding the students.
• Computer Lab: The computer lab of MGCU is well furnished, and fully equipped, and has a fast internet connection. The computer systems are latest and installed with updated software and applications. The high-speed internet or Wi-Fi facility makes the learning process easier and faster for the students. Moreover, it is spacious and fully air-conditioned and also provides excellent access to e-books and other related materials.
• Hostel: The university provides excellent accommodation facilities to the girl students. The hostel of MGCU is well maintained and the rooms are well furnished and installed with major devices that are required. The premises of the hostel are safe, round-the-clock Wi-Fi connection & electricity is available along with 24/7 water supply. Apart from this, the university has games and other co-curricular activities for the entertainment of the hostellers.
• Sports: Sports and games are very important for the mental and physical health of the students. Therefore, the university has provided excellent indoor and outdoor sports arrangements for games like Badminton, Cricket, Football, Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, etc. To impart leadership quality and sportsmanship to students, MGCU organises and participates in multiple inter-university events and tournaments. Additionally, there is a well-equipped gymnasium, Veer Hanuman Vyayamshala, which helps the students maintain a fit and healthy body and mind.
