BMSIT was founded in the year 2002, under the aegis of BMS Educational Trust, a renowned education initiative that established BMS College of Engineering. Of the six esteemed higher education schools established by BMSET Institute of Technology and Management, BMSIT & M, happens to be one. The technical college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering in disciplines like electronics & communication, telecommunications, mechanical, computer science, and electronics & telecommunications engineering.
The institution currently has around 3000 students, most of them enrolled in undergraduate programs, and over 150 faculty members. The college takes pride in presenting an infrastructure that’s comparable with the best campuses in the country and worldwide.
