The BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore has a modern campus which comprises all the adequate facilities for the students. The lively and supportive environment within the Institute’s campus enhances the overall development process of the students.

The campus of BMSIT&M is spread across around 22 acres of land with a built up area of approximately 60,115 square meters. In addition, amenities like smart classrooms, seminar halls, gym, bank, hostels, and so on are available at BMSIT&M campus for the students so that they can have an enriching educational journey.

BMSIT&M Campus Facilities

The campus of the Institute is equipped with all the necessary facilities ranging from academic to recreational for the student’s holistic development. Around 60+ classrooms and seminar halls are available to conduct education related activities and sessions. All the classrooms inside the campus are equipped with AV facilities like LCD projectors, Wi-Fi, etc. Also, multiple tutorial rooms are there within the Institute’s campus for several purposes.

Moreover, an air-conditioned ‘BSN Auditorium’ and conference room is present within the Institute’s premises to organise various types of activities. Furthermore, the campus consists of multiple other facilities like a stationery store, amphitheatre, meeting hall, drawing hall, e-studio, parking areas, and others for the students.

The details about the BMS Institute of Technology and Management campus amenities are given below:

  • Library: A library is present at the Institute’s campus which is spread across 2 floors with more than 1418 square metres of area and is fully-stocked with 14000+ titles, 57000+ volumes, and multiple other educational resources. Also, it can easily accommodate more than 250 students at a time. Apart from this, a digital library is there which is equipped with around 20 advanced systems for the students so that they can learn through numerous e-learning resources.
    Moreover, discussion rooms, reading room, internet browsing centre, reprographic section, and a wide range of other facilities are available within the library. Furthermore, departmental libraries are there at the BMSIT&M campus.
  • Laboratories: Several Computer labs are present within the premises of the Institute to facilitate students with practical education. In addition to this, 60+ laboratories are there within several departments like Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and various others.
    Moreover, few of the labs include Design lab, IOT lab, Power Electronics lab, System Programming lab, and the list continues with many others.
  • Sports: At the BMSIT&M campus, a wide array of outdoor sports facilities such as Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Nets (1200 square metres), etc. are available for the students in order to maintain their overall well-being.
    Along with this, an Indoor Hall which is spread across an area of 145 square meters is present with requisite amenities for games like Carom, Chess, Table Tennis, and others within the premises of the educational Institution.
  • Hostel: The Institute provides top-notch accommodation facilities for both boys’ (on-campus) and girls’ (off-campus). Moreover, the BMSIT&M Hostel can collectively accommodate around 622 students and is fully-furnished with basic necessities. In addition to this, boys’ can avail hostel rooms on double occupancy and for girls’ both double & triple sharing rooms are available.
    Furthermore, various other facilities like gym, washing machine, mess, and others are available exclusively for the students residing in the Institute’s hostels.
  • Cafeteria: Within the BMSIT&M campus, multiple cafeteria & food courts are present including ‘Kaapi Kuteera’ and others which offer several quality meals to the students. Also, a bakery namely, ‘Bake n Bite’ is there to provide a wide range of beverages and snacks.
  • Transportation: The Institute owns numerous buses for the students so that they can travel conveniently to the BMS Institute of Technology and Management campus and vice-versa.
  • Medical Facilities: A health clinic is there at the Institute’s campus with requisite facilities in order to offer medical assistance to the students. Also, in case of any medical urgency, 24/7 ambulance services are available.
  • Gymnasium: At the BMSIT&M campus, a 10 Station multi-gymnasium is present which is equipped with several equipment like leg press, barbell bars, weights, pull up bar, and others to help students stay physically active & fit.

    BMSIT Bangalore's Admission and Fee Structure
    The campus is spread over 21 acres of land which includes the campus of BMS Institute of Technology and Management and BMSSA as well as the college hostel. BMS Institute of Technology and Management is divided into 3 blocks. The academic block is for all the core branches like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and others. Whereas the BSN block is for the IT branches like Computer Science, Information Science, and other allied branches. And lastly, the lab block comprises labs for all branches. There is also food court, bakery, stationary, and also a medical center.
    BMS Institute of Technology and Management has a vibrant campus life with a mix of academics, extracurricular and social interactions. The atmosphere is engaging with numerous cubs and societies for students to take part in and indulge themselves with interests beyond their academics. There is Aero club, music, cultural, Rotaract, e-yantra, e-cell, placement cell, NCC, NSS, and many more clubs. There is a cultural fest named Uthsaha Vaibhava which is held even semester every year and a technical fest is held in the odd semester named Tech-Transform everywhere.Read Full Review

    BMSIT Bangalore: Excellent Placements and Supportive Faculty
    The campus is huge and vast. There are three engineering blocks namely academic block, BSN Block, Lab block where there are mechanical, ECE, ETE, Civil, CSE, ISE, AIML, CSBS course sections from 1st year to 4th year. The campus size is very huge and each section has more than 75 students on an average. There is a library with educational books of engineering subjects as well as non engineering books. There are GATE, GRE, EAMCET and other competitive exam books that help students.
    Overall campus life is too good. It provides good educational background and the faculties are really helpful. The crowd in Institute is medium. There are many clubs like eco, IEEE, Cultural, Rotaract, ECELL, PRIME and many more. There are many extracurricular activities that help students to build communication skills, get better exposure to real time problems, skills that help them build, leadership quality, etc. Being in groups make them learn and gain knowledge. There are fests that happen in every even semester which has dance and many cultural activities. In every odd semester there is tech transform which is technical fest presenting all the projects.     The BMSIT campus stretches around 21 acres of green land. There are three blocks. The academic block, the architecture block and the BSN block. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. Each bench can accommodate two students making it comfortable. There are benches placed all around the college. There is a well facilitated parking area. The library is located in the BSN area. The ground floor in the library and the first floor consists of the reading and a reference room with all the VTU prescribed textbooks, magazines, and many other informative books. There is a separate laboratory for every lab subject which is well maintained with upgraded equipments. The labs are always open to cater to the needs of the students. After performing, if there is any doubt, the student can get back later and solve his/her query.

    Workshops are conducted on a regular basis in the AV rooms. There are professional workshops too which help us grow technically. We have one auditorium in the basement where all the events take place. It is equipped with a stage and the needed technicalities for a stage setup. There is one small playground and also a sports room. There is also a gym area to which the students have access to. Games like football, cricket, and other events are played in the ground. Indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess and so on are equipped inside the games room. There are three cafeteria areas. The first one being the snack and coffee hub. The second one being the South Indian place and the third one being the pizzeria counter. Food tastes homely and is open during the college hours. The medical support team is on their toes and acts quickly during casualties. There is a separate room for medical assistance and is open for every student during all times.
    The overall campus like is a bliss. There are sky high spaces for all round development of the student. The ambience, the staff, the faculty, the students and everything about the college always leaves a good taste in my mouth. The college life is made up of the holistic education which comprises of clubs and activities provided by the college. There are almost thirteen active clubs in the college starting from professional clubs like the computer society of India, robotics club, institute of electric and electronics engineering, institute of electronic and telecommunication engineering, society of automotive engineering and so on.

    The other institutional clubs consists of Aero Club, E-Yatra, Akshay Urja Club, Civil Defence Club, Cultural Club, Eco Club, National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme, Photography Club, Rotaract Club, Quiz Club, Public Relations and Media Cell and so on. The scope for human development is enormous if these opportunities are taken. These clubs are active throughout the year and cater to the needs of every student to relish their inner talent.


    There are two fests held throughout the year. One being the departmental fests which happen in the odd semester and the other being inter collegiate fest which happens in the even semester. Utsaha is the inter college fest which happens like a festival every year. Many events, celebrities, food and lots of fun is observed during this time. Utsaha is one of the liveliest and one of its best crafted fests which is one of its kinds.Read Full Review
