Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering and Innovation has a Placement and Training Cell to assist students in achieving their career goals.

It organises pre-placement training programs for the overall personality development of the students. Pre-placement training includes four programs. These are listed below:

• Skill Development Program: It improves skills like communication skills, soft skills, listening skills, and writing skills.
• Fundamental Development Program: It introduces students to coding languages like C, C++, Python, Java, and PHP.
• Aptitude Enhancement Program: In this students work on their logical reasoning, problem solving, and general knowledge.
• Introduction to New Technologies: In this program, students are informed about new technologies like AI, DS, Angular JS, and DevOps.

Along with this, several placement activities are also organised by the cell. Some of them are mentioned below:

In addition to this, the Placement Cell provides guidance to the students preparing for competitive exams like GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, CAT, GATE, etc. It also assists students who want to initiate their start-up journey and bring their business ideas into reality.

The Cell conducts campus recruitment drives. It invites various companies like: Amazon, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Zensar Technologies, etc.

Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering and Innovation has a modern campus spread over an area of over 3 acres. It provides these Infrastructure and Facilities:

• Classrooms: The college has spacious and well furnished classrooms. They are equipped with audio-visual facilities.
• Library: The library is stocked with numerous books, journals, magazines, newspapers, reference books, etc. Students can also access e-resources in the library.
• Laboratory: The college has well-equipped labs like Electronic Engineering Lab, Mechanical Engineering Lab, Data Science Lab, Software Engineering Lab, etc. The labs promote hands-on training and research activities among the students.
• Seminar Hall: DYPCOEI has a spacious, fully-equipped seminar hall. It is used for events like guest lectures, seminars, workshops, etc.
• Hostel Facility: The college’s hostels are well furnished and ventilated. Medical facilities are provided in the hostels.
• Sports and Games: The campus has facilities for Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess, etc. The college organises various sports tournaments in the campus.
