Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government, Arts & Commerce College, also known as GACC established in 1960. The college has an affiliation to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, approved by UGC, AICTE and accredited with grade A by NAAC. The foundation was laid down by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. Saravpalli Radhakrishnan. It s located on the old Agra-Bombay highway within a huge campus spreading around 52 acres of land. The college has set up several departments and blocks to provide students all the required facilities. The college aims to become a respected Educational institute providing comprehensive learning with full commitment and upholding all the values.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee College Indore Admission are provided in different streams at the UG and PG levels in Arts & Commerce. Based on their marks and results in the college entrance examination or CET, students are selected for the admission. And they must submit all the documents required by the college to secure their admission. Aspirants wish to join any UG course must pass 10+2 examination with eligible marks, and for PG courses, students must have the required Bachelor's degree with eligible marks. Students must maintain 75% of attendance during the academic semester to appear in the final examinations.
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee College Indore is one of the biggest institutions in MP with more than 8000 students. The college was the first-ever government college to receive an A grade by NAAC. Since the time of its establishment, it has achieved several milestones in the field of education - the only college in Madhya Pradesh to have an MBA as a self-financed course. It is one of the premier institutes and famous for its sports, air-wings, and NCC operations. The institute has one central library spreading around 14000 sq ft with 100 seating capacity and one separate library in a different building. It has set up a small e-library with 15 computers and internet facility to help students gain more knowledge. There are around seven lacs e-books more than 600 e-journals, with a subscription to 12 newspapers, periodicals, journals, and books. The library has more than two lacs printed books and provides question papers of last year and question banks to help students practice for various competitive examinations.
