Rungta Group of Institutions is the best institute in the fields of Engineering, Humanities, and Management in Chhattisgarh. The institute was established in the year 1999 and its affiliation is with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. The institute is approved by AICTE, NCTE, PCI, NBA and UGC recognized. The institute also took the initiative of starting a placement program named “Placementnamma”.

Rungta Group of Institutions has colleges in two cities i.e. Raipur and Bhilai. Raipur has 3 colleges associated with the institute which are college of science and tech, the college of pharmacy and research, and the college of engineering and tech. Bhilai has 4 colleges in the name of the institute which are the college of engineering and tech, the college of pharmacy sciences and research, the college of pharmacy education and research, and the college of science and tech.

The institute offer Graduate degree courses such as:

• B.Tech and B.Pharmacy are of 4-year duration consisting of 8 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.
• BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc are of 3-year duration consisting of 6 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.
• B.Ed is of a 2-year duration consisting of 4 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.

Master’s degree courses such as: M.Ed, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Pharmacy, M.Sc, and MSW are of 2-year duration consisting of 4 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.

Diploma courses such as:

• DCA and D.Ed are of a 1-year duration consisting of 2 semesters.
• Diploma in engineering is a 3-year course consisting of 6 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.
• D.Pharmacy is a 2-year course consisting of 4 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year.

Ph.D. courses in Engineering such as: Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Ph.D. in Management, Ph.D. in Humanities, and Ph.D. in Computer Application are available.

Rungta Institutions accepts candidates according to their previous qualifications and on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the institute such as JEE or CGPET (Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test). Candidates can apply through the institute’s website and can fill in all the required information and submit the application fee. The applying candidates can also fill out the form offline by paying a visit to campus with the help of faculty members. Selected students will get the offer letter from the institute and then they can proceed by submitting the course fees and necessary documents.

Following are the eligibility criteria for the respective courses:

Engineering

• B.Tech: Candidate should have passed XII standard in PCM with 45% aggregate for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.
• M.Tech: Candidates should have completed their graduation in BE / B.Tech. A minimum of 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for the reserved category is required.
• Diploma: Candidate should have passed X standard. A least 35% aggregate for the general category and passing percentage for the reserved category.

Pharmacy

• B.Pharmacy: Candidate should have passed XII standard in PCM/PCB. A least of 45% aggregate for the general category and 40% for the members of lower castes is required.
• M.Pharmacy: Candidates should have completed their graduation in Pharmacy. A 55% aggregate for the general category and 50% for the reserved category is mandatory.
• D.Pharmacy: Candidate should have passed XII standard with 45% aggregate for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.

Management

• BBA: Candidate should have passed XII standard with 45% aggregate.
• B.Com: Candidate should have passed XII standard with passing marks.
• MBA: Candidates should have completed their graduation in any stream. A 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for the reserved category is necessary.

Computer Application

• BCA: Candidate should have passed XII standard with passing marks.
• MCA: Candidates should have completed their graduation in BCA. A 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for the reserved category is required.
• PGDCA: Candidate should have passed any bachelor’s degree with passing marks.

Science

• B.Sc:  Candidate should have passed XII standard with required subjects for the specific stream with passing marks.
• M.Sc: Candidate should have passed any bachelor’s degree with biology as a subject with passing marks.

Education

• B.Ed: Candidate should have passed any bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with passing marks.
• D.Ed: Candidate should have passed XII standard with 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for the reserved category.

1. Dr. Avadhoot Shivanand Scholarships: It provides scholarships to needy students who want to pursue any degree course after class XII. They also provide financial help to meritorious students. They help the students to fight depression, anxiety, and health issues with the help of YOI (Yoga of Immortals).
2. The institute provides various other scholarships such as scholarships by AICTE, and scholarships by the university. State or National Government Scholarships as per the guideline and eligibility criteria given by the government is also there for SC/ST/OBC.
