SRM University AP offers educational degrees to both national and international students. However, the admissions criteria and selection process for both varies. Resident and NRI students are eligible for the selection process if they hold a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card issued by the Government of India. The major admission criteria that this university follows is that the students need a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2+3 or any equivalent examination.

For enrollment, the candidates can fill out the online Registration Form by visiting the official internet site of the university. After filling the form, the candidate will receive a “Verify Email” message. SRM University - AP provides various scholarships to students based on various criteria. The university provides scholarships to both national and international students pursuing their higher academic careers here. The university provides Economic Scholarships to students belonging to Africa, SAARC, and other selected Middle East countries. Students belonging to Africa or SAARC countries can avail up to 80% of the scholarships and other Middle Eastern students can avail up to 75% of the scholarships.
Moreover, the university offers scholarships to students pursuing Engineering and Sciences courses. The scholarships here are offered to the students belonging to the economically weaker section of society, sports champions, and meritorious students. The university provides 100% scholarships to CSE and non-CSE students as per the Founder Scholarship and Merit Scholarship.
