SVIM has a Training and Placement Cell to assist students by providing placement services. The cell organises extensive training programmes as this increases the communication and technical skills of the students. Expert lectures are conducted by the industry professionals for solving the queries of the students related to the corporate world. The cell arranges visits in various industries and educational centres for the students to gain practical and relevant knowledge. Group discussion sessions, mock interviews, personality development programs, workshops, etc help in preparing students for the campus recruitment. The cell performs various activities like educational tours, internships, career planning sessions, etc. Formal invitation is sent to the reputed companies by the cell for the campus placement.

SVIM Indore is developed on 7 acres of land and provides a peaceful environment in the campus. It has all the modern facilities which are required for the development of the students. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms in the institute are designed with all basic facilities and proper seating arrangement.

• Library: The institute’s library is equipped with a wide collection of resources around 52,000+ books, 80+ print national & international journals, 2,500+ CD’s, 10,000+ e-journals, 40+ video cassettes, 15+ encyclopedias, project reports, biographies, etc. Internet services are provided to the students in the library to access the e-resources. The library is spacious and provides a proper seating facility to the students.
• Computer Laboratory: SVIM Indore has 6 well equipped computer labs with modern amenities. Excellent computing facilities with high speed internet connectivity are provided to the students in the campus. Each department student gets the time to enhance their programming skills.
• Laboratories: The institute provides departmental labs in the respective subjects for the students such as Physics & Electronics lab, language lab, business analytics lab, etc which are equipped with necessary equipments and tools.
• Hostel: Residential facilities are provided to both girls and boys separately near the campus area at reasonable charges. Rooms are allotted on sharing basis to the students and are equipped with a bed, cupboard, study table, chair, attached bathrooms, dress room, etc. Moreover, the hostel also provides facilities like visitors room, common hall, internet facilities, mess with dining hall, medical services, indoor sports facilities, telephone facilities, playground, transport facilities, etc. The hostels are under CCTV's surveillance and wardens are appointed for ensuring the safety of the students.

• Sports: SVIM Indore gives importance to the sporting activities for maintaining the fitness of the students.
