Nirmala College of Pharmacy Mangalagiri was started in 2004 with a D.Pharma course. The college has been affiliated with the Acharya Nagarjuna University. NCP has been approved by the PCI and AICTE. The college provides UG, PG, diploma, and doctorate courses in pharmacy. The B. Pharmacy course was initiated in 2006, whereas, the M. Pharmacy courses with 2 specialisations was started in 2010 and Pharmacology in 2011, and Pharma.D course in 2013.

The NCP college is located on a 3.5 acres campus with a total built-up area of 700 square meters. It has 22 well-equipped laboratories, and the classrooms are furnished with e-teaching facilities. There is a large auditorium that can hold around 600 people, along with playgrounds for cricket, volleyball, throwball, and tennikoit.
