Since 2015, Akal University has been offering high-quality education in the fields of Management, Sciences, Engineering & Technology and Humanities & Social Sciences. It is approved by the UGC and accredited by the NCTE.

Its vision is to become a centre of excellence that is committed to the overall development of students by imparting ethical, value-based, and quality education. Its mission is to educate young aspirants through implementation of scientific-based education to make them global citizens.

The university offers multiple courses after 12^th, Graduation, and Post Graduation.

To pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses from Akal University, candidates have to qualify in 12^th and Graduation with a minimum 60% score (55% for SC / ST) respectively. The Admission Guidelines that need to be followed by candidates are mentioned below:

• They must submit the Admission Form along with the required documents at the campus.
• If they are applying for different courses then they must fill out separate forms.
• Admissions at the university will be considered based on the Merit List.
• If a candidate belongs to the reserved category they must attach their Caste Certificate with the form to claim the benefit offered by the university.
• All the candidates must deposit the form before the prescribed date through Registered Post / Speed Post or in Person.

* For Reserved Category students, the university implements Government of Punjab Reservation Policies. It also reserves around 5% of seats for PIO / NRI / Foreign Nationals Candidates in every program.

University Scholarship for Meritorious and Needy Students

To become eligible for this scholarship, the family income of the candidates must be less than 8 LPA. They also have to qualify in the below-stated criteria:

Minority Community Scholarship

This Scholarship is offered to candidates who belong to minority communities as prescribed by the Government and have good academic records.
