Gurucharan College Fees Structure & Courses 2025, Silchar

Gurucharan College is good for its academics. I have selected the Bachelor of Science in Economics. For most of the people, it is confusing that Economics is an Arts subject so how can I take this as Science students. But Economics is dual stream subject. Hence, I have selected Bachelor of Science in Economics with Math and Statistics combination. Though it is tough to get admission in this college. First, you have to apply for admissions and then if you are eligible, your name will be in the merit list. Then you have to go to college office for confirming admission. At least 60% is required for taking admission in the college. It is also depends on departments and courses. Some department’s criteria is minimum 70%. Exams are taken monthly. There are 2 internals and from that, best will be selected.

For my course, the yearly fee is around Rs. 7000 excluding exam fee and registration fee. For four years, it is around Rs. 30,000. Fee for exams and registration is Rs. 500. Hostel fee is around Rs. 2,000 yearly. Yes, there is a reservation benefit available. For SC and ST, cut offs are also low. Some can take free admission also but family income certificate should be below 1 LPA. Scholarships are available but those who have taken free admission are not eligible for scholarships.Read Full Review

The Gurucharan College is popular for its discipline and for its friendly behavior with their student. I chose bachelor of commerce degree in this college because it is popular for this courses and many student got placement here. The eligibility for admission in this college is 75% in HS examination. To get admission in this college, students may face tough challenges because the eligibility criteria are very hard. The college takes exams every month as unit test and semester final exam in every 6 months. To get admission in this college the student must register themselves in smart portal.

Gurucharan College takes Rs. 7,680 from the students to get admission in bachelor of degree courses. For science students the fee structure is different and it varies on what subject they want to take.Read Full Review
