J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology hostels take complete efforts to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for the residents as well as provide all the modern services to the hostellers. There are 7 hostels on campus. The boys' hostel can accommodate around 437 boys and the girls' hostel can accommodate 366 girls.

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology hostel rooms are spacious and well planned with proper furniture.

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology hostel food is served by the hostel mess operated on a contract basis and managed by a mess committee that serves healthy and wholesome meals to the hostellers. Time-to-time inspection is conducted to ensure a best service to the students.

• A clean and hygienic atmosphere is maintained at the hostel premises.
• A reading room, common room, and guest room is present in the hostel.
• LEDs as well as computers are present in the recreational rooms for the students.
• Basketball and Badminton courts are also available.
• A variety of sports facilities are available at the hostel premises.
• Electrical appliances like hot water geysers, induction tops, etc. are provided to the residents for their convenience.
• Various classes including self-defense, anti-narcotics, career counseling, etc. are also provided for the development of the students.
• The campus also has Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Students are provided with clean drinking water and for that purpose, water coolers and purifiers are installed in every hostel.
• Apart from the mess, a canteen is also there.
• To ensure the safety of the residents, all the safety measures are taken, and 24*7 surveillance services is maintained. Each hostel is provided with a warden.
• The facility of daily newspapers and magazines is provided to the students for them to stay updated.

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology hostel rules:-

• There is a strict rule against cooking by the hostellers in the room. Also, the students cannot enter the cooking areas of the mess.
• Students must enter the hostel at the specified time and the warden must take regular attendance.
• Proper discipline should be maintained. It is mandatory for the hostellers to eat dinner in the dining room itself. They are not allowed to take the food back to their rooms.
• Every hostel elects a mess and hostel committee to ensure the smooth functioning of the hostels.
