Gargaon College Faculty Profile, Sivasagar

In my department, there are five teachers. Our head of department is Rimjim Borah Madam, she completed Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Education. Next we have Surajit Saikia Sir; he also pursued Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Our other teachers are Nilutpal Chetia Sir, Ankika Dutta Madam, Ankshu Kumari Madam completed their degrees in Master of Philosophy. All of our teachers have their own unique way of teaching things. Rimjim Madam likes to teach by books and tells us to understand facts and concepts. Ankika Madam uses projection classes as it makes it easy to read and understand. Nilutpal Sir is a mathematical person and his style of teaching consists of tables and diagrams. Surajit Sir likes to teach in his own way by describing concepts from his point of view.Read Full Review

The facilities of our institute teach us about various things. They provide us good quality notes and as well as practical knowledge. They provide us with high quality equipment for field work. We respect the faculty members of our institute. Digital classes are been taken by our teachers, which helps us to understand a particular topic clearly.Read Full Review

The teachers are good. The most of the faculty members are graduate and Ph.D professor. Their method of teaching is old school type. The problem solving ability of the faculty members is average. The teachers of every department have five to six members. In my course the ratio of teachers and students ratio is 1:7 or 9. The teachers and students relationship is good.
