St Xavier’s College holds its name and is a wonderful place for a child of 17 years to become an adult as the atmosphere is very supporting and nourishing. The college is a perfect blend between academic and non academic related activities and provides a whole lot of opportunities to its students so that they can identify and develop interest in fields they feel passionate towards. The crowd is much diversified with people from various different regions and also a healthy competition is seen amongst the peers. The societies inculcate confidence hard work and consistency among the students with lots and lots of fun. The college is overall a very good place to create memories and stories to tell in future as it has everything a good college has. Its NIRF rank is 6 all over the country.Read Full Review

St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is an autonomous college and one of the most prestigious colleges of India. It is also famous in abroad. It was my dream college since I chose Commerce as my subject in 11th grade. Luckily I got accepted in this college by giving an entrance exam for BMS course. This college is famous for its courses in the Arts stream. But nonetheless, all of its courses are equally amazing. It's been a great journey since I joined St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. I am particularly interested in the domain of Management, so I opted to go for Bachelor's in Management Studies, that too from one of the top colleges of India – having 6th position by NIRF in the category Colleges. The experience here has been exhilarating. Once you join the college, you have series of events lined up curated especially for the 1st year Undergraduates. You get to attend plethora of Business Simulations, Trading Competition, Treasure Hunt, etc. The transition from school to college life is truly overwhelming as you have a lot of activities lined up, be it Societies' recruitment, class seminars, never-ending assignments, seminars, CIA (Continuous Internal Assessment), and so on. But it’s worth experiencing. You get to learn a lot of skills like time management, teamwork, communication, etc. which will help you later in the corporate world.Read Full Review
