St. Xavier’s College Kolkata hostel provides excellent accommodation options to both male and female students. The college receives applications more than the room availability at the hostel so the selections are based on merit and needs of the students.

There are two off-campus hostels:

• Father Leeming Boys’ Hostel
• Mother Teresa Hostel for Girls

 St. Xavier’s College hostel rooms have the following variants:

• Triple-sharing rooms
• Double-sharing rooms
• Single rooms

Things that students have to bring with them during joining the hostel are as follows:

• Mattresses, bed sheets, pillows, pillow covers.
• Suitcases with efficient locks to store valuable stuff.
• Water bottles, mosquito nets, and locks for hostel rooms to ensure the safety of students.

St. Xavier’s College hostel food has the following characteristics:

• Mess is run on a non-profit basis.
• The superintendent supervises it.
• The food provided here is nutritious, healthy, and wholesome for the proper development of students.

 St. Xavier’s College hostel rules are as follows:

• The superintendent takes care of the management of the college.
• The provision to stay in a hostel for students is one year only. The students have to revise the enrolment every year.
• Students shall be expelled from staying at the hostel if they don’t attend classes without a genuine reason.
• Students who have more than three dues are expelled and not given admission back to the hostel from the following year onwards.
