St. Xavier's College Kolkata Faculty Profile

The faculty members are somewhat average. I would rate their way of teaching as good but yes it could get better. they try their level best to make the students understand the concept. But somewhere it lacks a little because of which I am rating the faculties average. Basically every modern method is adopted by the teachers be it blackboards, ppts or group discussions so that students understand the concepts properly. Generally if a student has doubt and wants to approach the teacher they are readily available and you all just have to inform them basically a day before so that they allot a time where they could take your doubts and explain you properly.Read Full Review

The faculty of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is one of the very best that you can get. They are highly educated and amazing teachers who have a passion for teaching and are just not there to get paid. The dedication of the faculty shows in every lecture. They are ready to guide and inspire students at all times. The lab assistants are very helpful as well. The professor guides you very well and helps you prepare for anything that you aspire to work on.Read Full Review

The teachers are good with different yet catchy methods to teach. The PPTs made are also very engaging and helpful containing many references about the topic taught. The commerce department is very cooperative and also solves doubts at first chance though being strict about rules such as not using mobile phone or talking in the class which itself creates a very focused environment. Also the faculty encourages doubts and thoughts among the students so the classes are very interactive.Read Full Review
