IIIT Hyderabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The hostels are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. They are not that big in size but not too small either, but slightly smaller than average. We are expected to stay in triple sharing in the first year, after that we move into double sharing rooms, and single sharing in the final year. Each room is equipped with fans and provided with LAN connections (after the first year). The hostels do not have air conditioning or coolers, but students can purchase coolers for their rooms if needed. IIIT Hyderabad has a total of 4 messes on campus, providing multiple dining options. The mess options include North Indian, South Indian, non-vegetarian (Kadamb Mess), and a healthy/low-oil option (Yuktahar Mess). We can switch between different messes at any time through an online portal. The hostel life is very chill. We make many friends in our hostels and most of our time is spent in the room of our friends, we study together, play games together, and have fun. Hostel life is very fun.Read Full Review

The hostels here are very good with spacious rooms with balcony. The quality of food is very good and hygiene. The infrastructure of hostels is also very good. Basic facilities are provided like Ethernet connectivity, water purifier, etc. is present in every floor of hostel.Read Full Review
