The college has hostel for both boys and girls. It provides stay and food at very affordable rates. The college hostel has decent quality of food and also wide variety of cuisines. They also have feast during special days. The hostel’s day programs are also held annually. College of Engineering, Trivandrum only has a single Ladies hostel for B-tech, M-tech, and MCA. So, for an M-Tech student, it might be difficult to get admission in LH. Most of the students are staying in PGs, but the college hostel is affordable and best compared to PGs. Overall, the expense of college hostel is Rs.3000/- to Rs.4000/- while in PGs, students normally pay around Rs.5000/- to 8000/- per month. There are separate hostels for both men and women. Women's hostel is located on the left and the men's towards the right. Both are good and hygienic with good hostel facilities. Food and mess is provided along with the best rooms and attached bathrooms. There are separate blocks for juniors and seniors. Cultural activities like LH day and MH day are the main recreational activities of these two hostels. Also, there is a hostel union that is present to address any needs or problems in the hostel facilities.Read Full Review
