My academic experience with the Shyama Prasad Mukherji College was amazing and up to my expectations. This college gave me so many life-long friends. The faculties are excellent. To be honest, with the help of my faculties I have gained so much knowledge about Commerce and Finance. I have also cleared my CA foundation and intermediate examinations along with my graduation. Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women (SPM) is an all-girls college that comes under the University of Delhi. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji established the college in 1969. It is situated in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. The college holds affiliation with the University of Delhi and is accredited by AICTE. Admission to the college is easy as compared to other colleges. Admission to most of the undergraduate courses takes place via Merit-Based that is, based on the cut-off list. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria get admission. In rare cases, sometimes the college declares a special cut-off list for filling up the vacant seats of reserved category. For some courses like M.A., B.Ed or B.El.Ed, there is a Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). After clearing the entrance test, the eligible candidate gets admission.

Talking about College Management, there are designated committees and, their management is supervised by The Principal (Dr. Sadhna Sharma). There is an Administrative office which handles and executes all the processes of the college. Sometimes The Administrative office staff behaves rudely when it comes to helping the students.
