The faculty is very good and teachers who come to teach us have a Ph.D degree. They also teach in English language and this helps a lot. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and have in depth knowledge of the subject they teach, and this is the best thing about the University. Currently our dept has 5 teachers after Debasis Bandopadhyay resigned. Very soon associate professor or professor will be recruited here. We have two associate and three assistant professors. Three of them have done their PhD and engaged with several researches. Two junior assistant professors are doing their PhD. Dept has Dalit survey special professor Indranil Acharya.

Other departments are also equipped with faculty library and laboratory. Some departments have not that much exposure and faculty to lead a department well. University is trying to solve the problems as early as possible. Our dept has language lab to develop the skill of talking fluently in foreign language.Read Full Review

First you will think that professors are rude persons but reality is opposite. Professors are NET / SET qualified and some of the professors are recruited through JRF exam. So you can guess how well qualified they are. Their teaching level can't beat any other West Bengal’s University, I hope. I’m passed out in Sanskrit with 7.8 CGPA.Read Full Review
