People’s College of Medical Sciences & Research Center administers and regulates admission for the MBBS program. The MBBS course offered by the university has the approval of the Medical Council of India. This undergraduate program in medicine and surgery is a 5-and-a-half year course where the four and a half years are spent in studying the various medical disciplines.
In the fifth and final year, students serve as an intern in the People’s College of Medical Science & Research Center to gather professional experience. The medical college and research center was established with the objectives of furnishing healthcare, promote research activities, and furnish quality, industry-oriented medical education. To qualify for the undergraduate medical program, a candidate needs to clear the 10+2 examination of a recognized central or state education board. Additionally, the candidate has to secure the prescribed cut-off marks in the MP State combined UG/NEET-UG entrance examination.
The School of Research & Technology, a constituent institution of People’s University, set up in 2007, offers the Bachelor of Technology course. The B. Tech program is a fulltime course with an academic duration of four years and certified by AICTE. One can choose to specialize in a particular field by applying to this undergraduate program in engineering and technology.
Some of the specialization fields that are open to students include computer science, power system, urban planning, construction technology and management, digital communication, cybersecurity, electronics and communications engineering and so on. The basic eligibility criterion for this program is a pass in the higher secondary examination conducted by an approved state or central education board,
The compulsory subjects in 10+2 should have been physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English. Final admission to the B. Tech course depends on the marks obtained in JEE (Main) or any state-level engineering entrance examination.
The BDS course is a fulltime five-year program recognized by the Dental Council of India. The People’s College of Dental Sciences & Research Center, established in 2002, deals with matters relating to admission for the BDS program. At the same time, the dental college is responsible for the smooth conduction of this undergraduate program in dentistry. Students applying to this program receive instructions in various aspects related to dentistry such as conservative dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, oral & maxillofacial surgery, oral pathology and microbiology.
Students intending to apply to the university’s BDS program, have to clear the 10+2 examination. The compulsory subjects at the intermediate level should be English, mathematics/biology, physics, and chemistry. Moreover, the applicant needs to secure the prescribed score in the MP State combined UG entrance exam or NEET exam.
The People’s College of Nursing and Research Center enrolls students for the 2-year course in B. Sc (Nursing). The B. Sc (Nursing) course enjoys the approval of the Nursing Council of India. This undergraduate program in nursing prepares students to serve as a nurse in the healthcare sector.
The course enables the students to develop critical cognitive skills and competence needed for the practice of professional midwifery and nursing. Candidates receive instructions and training in domains such as OT techniques, ophthalmic nursing, TB nursing, leprosy nursing, community health nursing, and so on. The candidate has to pass the 10+2 examination in the science stream as well as clear the relevant entrance exam for securing admission.
