I took admission in the course of B.Sc. Anthropology Honours in 2017. The Eligibility criteria given by the West Bengal State University to join this college was overall 55% marks in aggregate in the Higher Secondary Examination, and at least 60% in the related subject in the same examination. This college does not have any entrance examinations for B.Sc. and the admission is given purely on the basis of merit. I have had a liking towards Anthropology since I was in 9th Standard and decided to get my degree on it and later get into research in the same.

The course syllabus is extremely fascinating and if you are a fan of learning, this will be great for you. Anthropology is a very scoring subject in the civil services examination, and if you want to pursue career as a civil servant, Anthropology can be one of your best choices to achieve your goal. Or, you can go for research and higher studies to get into a career in academia. You can also opt for a Master Degree in Forensics after this course and get a job in medico-legal sector.Read Full Review
