The Total area of the college campus is approximately 2 square kilo meters. There are three buildings, each of which is three storeys. There are a huge number of class rooms, having at least 50 rooms in the college. There is a bank branch of United Bank of India inside the college campus and an adjacent ATM. The College boasts of a large Library, and a language Laboratory which are not only enough to cover the academic needs but also provide great resources if you like to read story books. The college also has two large seminar galleries and an indoor auditorium which is used in various seminars and departmental occasions.

It has two canteens both of which are hygienic and serve tasty food in very pocket friendly rates appropriate for students. Both of these canteens serve non vegetarian foods. In case of emergencies first aid is provided in the college and further medical problems are handled in ILS hospital which is situated right next to the college.

Overall, The College has a good learning ambiance and the social interactions between students and teachers are also great. The college has a NCC and NSS team for social work. The Kabbadi team of the college is also very capable, and has won the State Inter College Kabbadi Championship for two consecutive years. Every year, a college annual programme and College social is arranged where DJs and Bengali and Hindi Bands and playback singers are invited to perform.

The freshers welcome by the college union is a grand occasion with competitions, great food, and great cultural programmes. Departmental freshers welcome, teachers day' is also celebrated every year. The Basanta Utsav is also a majestic affair of celebration in this college.Read Full Review
