SGT University gives admissions to the students solely based on the merit which can be either the marks of the last qualifying exam in which they appeared or entrance exam scores. The Haryana government has also notified that around 25% seats will be reserved for the students who belong to the state of Haryana and out of this 10% are exclusively for SC of the state. There is also a 25% fee concession given to the students who are residents of Haryana.
How to apply to take admissions?
Note: Applicants who are waiting for the results of their entrance exams can also apply and they will be given a provisional admission. At the time of counselling they have to submit all the documents needed to fulfil the eligibility and only then their provisional admission will be turned into the confirmed admission. Admission to the Ph.D courses in all the fields, M.Phil and Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology will be done strictly on the basis of merit of entrance test/ personal interview conducted by the university.

Placement Process: All the companies usually follow this same process during placements of students at the campus. After presentation of company and job profile, a written test is being conducted where aptitude and technical test is held to check the familiarity of students with the subject, followed by a GD and one round of technical interview. At last HR interviews are held and a documentation process is also completed to verify the credentials of the students.
SGT University has world class infrastructure and facilities available on the campus for students as well as employees present there. The campus is situated in the area of 70 acres and is a green campus, with aesthetically built infrastructure and very spacious academic buildings. IT Infrastructure: More than 1 Crore INR has been spent to upgrade the IT facilities to bring the university to the highest level. All desktops and PCs have been upgraded to the top and newest technologies and processors. The campus is fully secured with over 1500 cameras installed in the institute as well as the vehicles used for pick-and-drop facilities.

Central Library: The SGT library also known as the temple of learning is the most prominent place on the campus for students and staff. The library has housed many books, journals of national and international significance which are available in print and electronic forms. The library has encyclopaedia, dictionaries, reference books, and digital library also consists of books from medical and non medical streams. The library has services like cataloguing, classifications, information services, and bar-coding services that are fully digital and automated. The library is so wide that it can accommodate more than 400 readers at one time and it is fully air conditioned and provides a serene and cosy environment for bibliophiles.
Sports: It has all types of sports related activities and motivates students to participate in the games so that they can develop their personality and grow their mental health along with their physical health. Transport: SGT has its own fleet of vehicles with 30+ buses that are running on many routes across Delhi NCR region and surrounding areas of Gurgaon.
