College's infrastructure is so average. The campus is too small in size which is in around 3-4 acres. College has two small grounds where students can play football and cricket like games. College has rich labs, rich libraries but ACs are not available in classes which is very disappointing. In indoor games we have very less number of options like chess, carrom and table tennis.

Overall campus life is good. Diversity in the college is low because here 90% of students belong to Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. There are so many clubs in the college like technical club called Samarth, cultural club called Ankoorans or sports club called Technootkarsh and many more. The cultural club of the college organizes many fests. One of them is Anachronos which is one of the biggest cultural fest of Kolkata. There are 5-6 buildings for different types of courses. They have a central Library which provides books for every semester. They have departmental libraries too. There are two playgrounds for activities and other occasions. They have seminar halls as well. In all the buildings, there are enough lifts which are helpful for students and faculty members to reach the higher floors. There are labs, smart classrooms, and normal classrooms for each department separately. There are clubs for each purpose. There is a cultural club (Ankuran), technical club (Geekonix), sports club (Techotkarsh), educational club (Samarth), social club (Samaritans), literary club (Eclectica), and IIC club for students which is monitored by the teachers. These clubs also have sub-clubs which includes every department’s participation.

"Institute is a place to explore your interests and expand knowledge". I would say that TMSL is the place which a fresher is searching for. The fests here are the best. As there are 7 club; each of which organises a fest. They invite various Bollywood artists after hearing the students’ opinion. They bring stand-up comedians, RJs, educational motivators in the fests. Farewell and fresher’s programs are organized with great gratitude and care. There are various sports events going on round the year. They have facilities for football, cricket, tennis, badminton, chess, etc., and other fun activities for the students. Students who are GATE, CMAT aspirants receive guidance and advice from various experienced educational motivators who come to our institute for academics related seminars. Other than this, there are prom nights held by various clubs. There are technical Hackathons which include inter-institutional contests. Our college has three to four separate buildings. The whole engineering block has its own 10 floor building. Each department is given a specific floor. (Like our ECE department is on the 8th floor). We have 4-5 elevators. The labs are excellent. They have all the equipment in the best conditions, along with air conditioned rooms. The college building and floors are maintained at regular intervals. Each department has got a separate faculty room in each floor. For placement cell, we are given with a separate floor as well. The washrooms are clean and very hygienic. We have also got one single library for all departments and individual departmental libraries as well.

The campus life is one of the best in Kolkata. Techno Main Salt Lake has 4-5 clubs, each conducting events of specific genre. Like for example, we've got a cultural club which organizes the freshers for first year students, and a big cultural fest, inviting mega stars every year. The campus is decent enough for handling the student crowd. We have a tech club which conducts the second largest tech fest in Eastern India, which is phenomenal. Respectable guests are also invited here. Co-curricular activities are very regular in our college. Photography, sports, videography, film making, singing, dancing, debate, elocution, gaming (both PC and mobile), painting, indoor games and many more.
