UPES Dehradun BBA+LLB Fees Structure 2024 & Admission Process

The college provides various courses across 8 schools (namely- business, law, engineering, design, etc). In its Law school, it provides courses like B.A.LL.B, BBA.LL.B, B.COM.LL.B, LLB, LLM, and more. It is fairly easy to enroll in this college. They consider your CLAT scores or their entrance exam, and if you have above 80% aggregate in 12th standard you can also get a direct admission. The college also provides specialization in these courses where you can select a particular field of law to specialize in, which gives you an edge in that particular sector of law. It provides Energy Law specialization which not many universities are providing in India thus it has a lot of scope for sculpting your future in this field.Read Full Review

I joined the specialization course of International Trade and Investment Law which is fairly new in the college and 2021 batch is the first to graduate. The eligibility criteria for the candidates is to secure 55% or more in the 10th and 12th class. Then they have to appear for the college organized entrance test known as ULSAT. There are no minimum scores to get selected as the college selects top achievers in the test. Once the students are shortlisted they have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews and the criteria for the same is imitated beforehand.

The reason to join the course is that it deals with a new field of law which is not much explored in the country and there are not enough firms dealing with the same. This leaves the field with a lot of pending work and since the cross border investment and trade is increasing we all need Lawyers and Law Professionals working for the same.
