Since it came into force in 1983, the ASM Group of Institutes, Pune is providing industry-oriented education to its students in various fields of knowledge. Seven institutes are running under the Group and the students are educated by qualified faculty including international professors. The professors focus on the holistic development of the students along with strengthening the practical aspects of the subject.
The curriculum of the college is developed in such a way that the student is challenged academically and grows personally. The curriculum helps them develop the skills required for professional growth. The founders of the institute are Dr. R.R. Pachpande and Dr. Asha Pachpande and they aim to contribute to the socio-economic transitions in the nation. Institutes under the ASM Group are IBMR, IIBR, IPS, IMCOST, CSIT, GEMS, and EMPROS.
A lot of courses offered at the institute are approved by AICTE and the ASM Group is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. These courses include BBA, BMS, BBM, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc CS, MBA, PGDM (Business Analytics/ Business Administration), MCA, and M.Sc CS.

The students need to bring their class 10th, 12th, and Graduation mark sheets along with a Photo Id Proof. After the PI, the shortlisted candidates will be intimidated and they will need to pay the tuition fee.
